About
The fledgling Anacortes Adventist Fellowship (AAF) was formed in September of 2008 to re-establish a contemporary and relevant Seventh-Day Adventist Christian presence in Anacortes. The fellowship initially started meeting in a home, then the Croatian Cultural Center and later moved to the Middle School Cafeteria. In September of 2010 the fellowship was able to purchase the historic Church of Christ Scientist building at 1419 8th Street in Old Town section of Anacortes. Since then the fellowship has been repairing the building and adapting it to the needs of the congregation.
The fellowship holds worship services each Saturday and a weekly meeting Wednesday night. Between 40 to 70 people attend the Saturday service and 20-30 the Wednesday night meeting. The Wednesday night meetings presently feature an informal soup supper followed by small study groups -- at present these study groups are focusing on health, prayer, and bible study.
